Omar Mobarek

Born in Long Beach, California in 1989. He stayed in Orange County until he left for college to Seattle in 2007. After three years there, Omar moved to Cairo and he has been there ever since. He studied Art at AUC, with a specialization in graphic design. Mobarek has spent the last 6 years developing his style, getting influence from the lifestyle and artwork of Southern California, while applying concepts from the contrast of cultures he’s experienced (West vs the Middle East). Themes he enjoys working on mostly regarding the social aspects of life, from dating to the social and cultural expectations of men and women in Egypt.
