Mahmoud Hamdy

Mahmoud, AKA “Moodselector” has a straightforward mantra. “Let’s be rebellious.” A Veteran Creative & Visual Artist with over 19 years of working in the fields of contemporary design and creative communication industries, Mahmoud has often wondered why we should maintain the status quo in any aspect of our lives. Mahmoud believes that part of our responsibilities as creatives is to challenge norms and celebrate experimentation. Mahmoud has always led a diverse and creative life, starting from obtaining a degree in fine arts in Cairo, co-founding Cairo based progressive boutique design studio “FC Studio”, to joining British type foundry Dalton Maag’s team, followed by a stint as Creative Director at FP7 McCann. Now He is working as a freelance commercial film director and a Co-founder of Station Design a high-profile branding, type design, and design studio based in Seoul, South Korea. Over the years, Mahmoud was working and collaborating with artists and creatives from all over the world.
