Noura Badawy

Noura Badawy is a 23 year designer, based in Cairo, who values connection, authenticity, and creativity. She’s a senior majoring in Graphic Design at the German University in Cairo. Noura has created a variety of projects as a result of myriad analogue techniques as she finds joy in the process of creating with multiple different mediums. She’s always keen on learning new ways to create whether it’s embroidery, crocheting, linocut, or even sewing. Moreover, some of these techniques are reflected within her designs as a unique tool to create a sense of identity in her projects. She’s also passionate about archiving and preserving the past through her work, and enjoys story-telling through visual and conceptual dialogue with images.
