Hamdan-Buti

Hamdan Buti Al Shamsi, born on March 16, 1981, is a self-taught photographer, graphic designer, and writer. His work explores the human experience, addressing identity, beliefs, and aspirations through collage, digital media, and photography. By mixing traditional and digital techniques, he delves into themes of self-expression, fears, and pop culture. Al Shamsi has exhibited widely in the UAE, UK, and US, including shows like "Emirati Insights" and "Past Forward." An alumnus of Campus Art Dubai and the Salama Emerging Artist Fellowship, he has also taught photography and digital collage workshops. He was selected for the Expo 2020 campaign, "For Everyone."
