Shorouq Sherif

Shorouq Sherif Kandeel is an Egyptian graphic designer and illustrator born in 1993. She graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts at the German University in Cairo in 2016. Influenced by the Arabic culture, art and literature since childhood, she discovered her real passion for storytelling through illustrations, which she expresses through her projects. Currently, she works as a senior art director in Brand Bazaar advertising agency. In 2017, she curated and participated in a workshop and group exhibition at Dai Gallery, as well as participated in Amman Design Week. In 2019, She founded “Hekaya”, a brand that aims to spread the Arabic culture through telling bed-time storytelling.
